Presented as a documentary film with an accompanying book, "Die Pornomacher" is an unbiased look at the world of German porn stars.

The documentary was filmed and photographed over the course of more than 8 years and portrays six protagonists of the German porn industry and their struggles in a world that is surprisingly unknown and filled with contradictions.​
